It comes with a new mechanism for opening and closing the side panel, and is easy to operate even with one hand. It's also more flexible than its predecessor with 11 different height levels and feet that retract to fit under any bed.
Our testers appreciated the ease of use offered by the side panel which can be moved upwards and downwards with just one push of a button. This was an enormous help in feedings at night as it meant that they could easily reach inside and pick up their baby without disturbing them.
It is possible to lower the side panel it's own, however this is not recommended because it increases the chance that your child could be thrown out of the cot. The safety locking system ensures that the side panel will remain in place when it is attached correctly to the mattress of the parent. This is a wonderful feature to have for peace mind, particularly if you're breastfeeding and require frequent nighttime feedings.
